Study tour to Madrid

study trip to Madrid - school trip to Madrid

Madrid has been the capital of Spain since 1561 and is a large modern city with about 6 million inhabitants. This makes it the 3rd largest in Europe only surpassed by London and Paris.

De large, wide streets in the heart of Madrid are a nice surprise and along them you will find many small plazas and buildings with a medieval touch that all help make Madrid a pleasant experience.

Visit the Prado Museum on the study tour to Madrid

A study tour to Madrid must include football

For football fans there are few places in the World that can compare to a visit to Real Madrid's famous stadium Santiago Bernabeu in the northern part of the city. If you book ahead, you can get the chance of watching a match on the study tour, but if you are not lucky to get tickets you can still go for a tour of the impressive stadium.

Study tours to Madrid also give you experiences outside the city. Spain has an extensive network of high speed trains who carry passengers to sights like the medieval town of Toledo in about half an hour - a trip that would take more than one hour by car. However, Madrid has more than enough to offer itself and on a study tour to this vibrant city you will experience interesting architecture, great food, and fascinating culture.
